The current crisis

I didn't have any time to ponder what kind of (healthy, disciplined, generally awesome) person I am, or to write a manifesto, because all evidence suggests I am mostly the type of person who spends way too much time working. I sit at my computer and edit for clients all day, every day of the week (including pretty much nonstop since 7:30 this morning), and when I want to take a break, I sit at my computer and edit for my husband. Or I sit at my computer and update my blog.

In some ways I don't really mind. I like what I do, my office is a spiffy place, and we could always use the money. But good for me, it is not.

I keep thinking that I'll get my schedule under control JUST as soon as I dig my way out of the current crisis. Ha ha ha ha ha. The current crisis has a deadline of Wednesday, and we have to get in the car and drive to Seattle for Sectionals on Thursday morning. Maybe when we get back Monday night there WON'T be a huge steaming pile of new crisis waiting for me.

  1. Bring you laptop, we have wifi. Not sure about the pool, there is probably a Starbucks near if you need to get on.

  2. Not a crisis, but a huge pile of family waiting to see you! And your kids! (Well, not until Tuesday, but still.)
